How
does the treatment work?
Dermosonic
uses an ultrasonic wave method to penetrate the skin,
breaking down fibrosis and softening the fat deposits.
The physician uses an instrument with a motorized head
and specially designed rollers. It produces controlled
suction that gently lifts the skin, energizing the
venous and lymphatic systems and thereby eliminating
toxins. The suction and vibration also break down
subcutaneous fat and water which are drained away by the
body’s lymphatic system. Fibroblasts are stimulated
which increase collagen and elastin production.
How
many treatments are required?
Usually,
ten treatments are recommended. After your desired
results have been obtained, maintenance sessions can be
performed once a month to prevent the cellulite from
returning.
Are
there any possible side effects?
Minor
bruising may occur.
Will
there be any downtime?
There is
no downtime with Dermosonic.
What
are the benefits of Dermosonic over other treatments?
Dermosonic
is a pain-free method of removing cellulite from
"trouble spots" and contouring the body. With
Dermosonic, there is no chance of skin pigmentation
changes, scars, blisters or infection.
How
soon will results appear?
Results
can appear after the first treatment but are more
dramatic after multiple treatments.
How
long does a Dermosonic treatment last?
The
treatment process lasts about one hour.
How
does the treatment feel?
The
treatment feels similar to a massage. If done properly,
the procedure should not hurt because the level of
intensity is adjusted to your personal comfort.
How
long do the results last?
The
results last from several months up to a year depending
on maintenance and lifestyle. Results are long-lasting
if the recommended number of treatments is completed.
However, if only a few sessions are completed, the
results will fade quicker.
